FOREST ANIMALS

There are all kinds of animals that live in the forest.  But they also live in many different kinds of homes, maybe logs, burrows, nests, etc.  Here is a tree that some may live in.  This is just a papertowel tube painted with colorful fall leaves and gold glitter.  We also made owl hats and bird feeders with rice cakes, peanut butter, and bird food.  Jay Jay put his bird feeder out and 20 minutes later the squirrel came and took the whole thing.  Teagan hung his from a tree and the peanut butter melted to the ground along with the bird seed.  Now all you see is a red string hangin from the tree.  I'm sure the birds will still find it.
