Planting Our Seed
A few weeks ago the kids wrapped a few beans in a paper towel they sprayed down with water, then they placed it in a bag. The bags have been in our window until they started spreading out of the paper towel. Now its time to plant the roots in some soil.

Morning Brisk Walk
I gathered the kids around for circle time and talked about about these big fish we saw with orange lips (carp) and how they were just at the top of the water not scared. So we decided to enjoy the weather, go on a morning walk and go feed these big fish. I know the kids would love it. So we gathered our bags and on our way we went.
In our bags went.....................Our first stop was a huge yard full of pinecones to gather....then our next stop was an area with about 30 geese that left feathers everywhere, then we approached the small bridge where all the fish were hanging out. The kids were well minded as to not speak a word just in case the fish were out as they threw the hand fulls of food over the rail. We didn't have any luck though,,,,I think it was to windy. Disappointed!!

Our American Flag standing so tall :) This made me smile.
The kids took off running to the flag.......ring around the rosy, ring around the rosy....It was great.

My only girl for the day,,,,but shes tough and hung right in there with these boys.

COLORS

Our Mothers Day gifts on a canvas:))

During our circle time today we read a story about a bunny who would jump into one color of paint then another color and the kids would have to figure out what color he would become. Then the bunny would jump in a bucket of water and jump into different colors again. So the kids had to try and remember what colors to mix from the color wheel to make certain colors for their flower petals.

Then we dipped tissue paper into water and squeezed it to make colors on our background.
