Nature Walk

Weather was perfect so we decided to go on a nature walk.  The kids and I collected pine cones, leaves, sticks and rocks.  We traveled over bridges, through fields of sticks and trees, on dirt roads, and along a big pond.  The geese were all around as well as a couple other bird species, which one of them the kids were amazed by. Had long legs like a flamingo but not sure what it was.  I don't know how I forgot bags to collect things but we just used our shirts to hold our pine cones.  We also spent some time throwing rocks over the bridge into the water.

 Jaxon's shirt is not working so well on holding his pine cones or better yet maybe he has collected way to many. Because they keep falling out :(
