ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS
Yeah... finally we can fill our playground. Just in time for spring break.
We were patiently waiting upstairs after the phone call and then we all
ran outside when we heard the big dump truck coming.

AMAZING how the truck tilts, makes all that noise, dumps our rocks, and then drives off.





















































































































































































Just wouldn't leave the sandbox today. We have a few extra things for the sandbox and Isaiah loved the boats. Actually they are going in our water table for outside.

The kids love the sandbox. I have no regrets adding this to our backyard. They could spend hours in here.

SCIENCE EXPERIMENT that turned to a mess.

First we had water in the jar then we added oil to observe and see what the water does. Next salt, then last, food coloring. Eventually the oil bubbles turned blue and stayed seperated from the water.

But the mistake was.....After the kids were told how important it is to keep this on the table because it will ruin the carpet.....someone must have forgot.....and guess what....yes....blue, oily food color all over the carpet. (a big area)

Emergency scrubbing but obviously you can't get it out. Sometimes I shouldn't trust little ones. I just wanted them to have fun with their experiment throughout the day. I learned my lesson.

CUTTING
I just layed different magazines in our sensory tub and told the kids to look for silly things to cut out.



















































This is going to be a snake on a stick.



































What about painting with the sunglasses? do you think he really could see?
Maybe not look at the table.

They needed to follow the pattern and figure out what fish went where.

Dr Seuss does silly things! Well so did we!!
What can you find around the room, put on your head, and balance it without it falling. They came up with some crazy things.

Silly craft for Dr Seuss week
Gave each child a white bag to decorate. They used pipe cleaners and yarn spools to dip in paint and make silly pictures. You can only imagine what they did next.

Then everyone joined in and what fun they had.

NAP TIME
I told the kids if they get on their cots I would take pics of them laying down. So they got all excited and were speed racing to be the first one on their cot. But then John was trying to hide from the camera and giggling under his blanket. The camera still caught him, perfect timing.
